RUFC - Stewart 'Trust Me'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart has asked fans to Trust him this evening at a Forum being held in Rotherham.

Mr Stewart, who took over as Chairman eighteen months ago, told the fans present that he is enjoying his time as Chairman and knows that time is ticking on for the Millers' to move back to Rotherham.

Mr Stewart wouldn't name the site for the new ground but says he is hoping to be able to name it around Christmas or perhaps the first week in January.

He said the land, which the council want the club to have, has only become available in the last three months and he has invested £20 thousand in people doing necessary investigations on the piece of land.

Mr Stewart also said that he will be amazed if we are not in the new stadium by two years in January.

He said the style of the stadium would be a baisin style and the capacity will be between twelve and a half and fifteen thousand.
