'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Praise for Andy

Rotherham United 'keeper, Andy Warrington has had praise from both his Manager and an opponent this week.

Ronnie Moore told Les Payne of The Star that the thirty-three year old shot stopped has earned himself a new contract.

'For me he is the best 'keeper in our division.' Moore said, 'and people were marvelling at those save against Bradford on Saturday. Andy's been on top of his game this season and I'm glad we're tying something up with him. He's certainly earned himself a new contract.'

One of the people 'marvelling' was Bradford player, Lee Bullock. The City midfielder was denied a certain goal by Warrington and said, 'It was an incredible save.'

Moore said of the save, 'That save looked good at the time but when you see it again on video you wonder how he managed it.'
