RUFC - Moore 'no chance' of the game being played

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said there was 'no chance' of the game being played on Saturday.

With the Millers' game one of the first to be called off, although many others followed, Moore told Les Payne of The Star, 'We'd had the frost covers on but overnight the temperatures got down to minus five and the surface was frozen.'

Referee, Tony Bates deemed the pitch unplayable at 9.00am. As yet no new date has been arranged.

As we said on our forum, it now means that Nick Fenton won't be available for our Holiday Monday game at Saltergate against Chesterfield due to suspension, which, I think, is a bit of a blow.

As a footnote - it is compulsory for ALL clubs in League Two to have frost covers from NEXT season
