'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - EA Sports Fan of the Year

The Football League has launched a nationwide search for the EA Sports Fan of the Year.

The Football League award is held in conjunction with FourFourTwo magazine and fans are being asked to nominate fellow supporters who they think have gone beyond the call of duty to support their team.

What they want to know is:

. The Name of the Person Nominated
. Which club that person supports
. If possible a Photo of the person nominated
. Background information about the person nominated
. Why you have nominated that person and why you think he/she should win the award
. Your name, contact details and relationship to the nominated person

You can e mail these to

or post to

The Football League's Commercial Director, Stewart Thomson told the Football League's Official Site, 'The Football League relies on the support of dedicated fans and these awards are a fantastic way for us to identify and reward such loyalty.'

The nominations will be judged by an expert panel which include representatives from the Football League, EA Sports and FourFourTwo.

So, if you know anyone who you think deserves this award get your entries in by Wednesday, 20th January 2010. The winner will be honoured at a gala dinner in March 2010.
