'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore Pre-Rochdale

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Rochdale are a well organised side and will be tough to beat.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Moore said, 'Hilly (Keith Hill) is doing a nice job there. They are a nice footballing side who will pass it. There's pace in the side and they have two lads up front who are a constant threat but if our back four perform well then, I think, we win the game.

'They've scored goals from all over the pitch. They've got a centre-half who's got nine and the wingers have scored and both strikers have got something like twelve and seventeen goals and that's why they are top of the league.'

Moore has been to watch Rochdale play recently and says that the two strikers, Chris Dagnell and Chris O'Grady, have a magnificent understanding. 'Dagnell is a fantastic player and very much like Alfie (Adam Le Fondre)and if the opportunity comes he'll score. O'Grady hasn't performed as well as he can do. In his early days he looked like he was going to be so silky and a good player and it hasn't really come out of him yet.

'If you go there, stand off and show them too much respect then you're in trouble. We know what we have got to do, more than anything, is stop the balls getting to their strikers and we need our two lads up there to be working their socks off and for the four in midfield to be nice and sound.

'It's a big game for us and if we win we've got games in hand that can close the gap on them if we can win them.'
