RUFC - Ex-Miller becomes a Manager

Rotherham United's former goalkeeper, Kelham O'Hanlon has recently become the Manager of Unibond First Division side, AFC Fylde, who are based in Preston.

Kelham joined the Millers from Middlesbrough and played over two hundred and fifty competitive games between 1985 and 1991. He was an ever present during his first season and, being an excellent shot saver, soon became a favourtie with the fans. He was also an ever present in the 1988/9 season, the year the Millers were Fourth Division Champions.

After Millmoor, Kelham moved to Carlise, Preston North End, Dundee and back to Preston again where he became assistant manager to David Moyes. When Moyes moved to Everton he was temporarily in charge.

Since then he has been coach with Bury, Chester and Barnsley. Three months ago he became coach at AFC Fylde, before replacing Mick Fuller as manager this month, who has moved upstairs.

Forty-seven year old O'Hanlon also has caps for the Republic of Ireland's U21 side and the first team.

All at Vital Rotherham want to wish Kelham good look in his new job.
