'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Perry's extend association with Millers

Rotherham United have announced today that their association with Perry's will continue until at least 2012 with Perry's name being displayed on the back of both the home and away shirts for the 2010/11 season and for the home shirt for the 2011/12 season.

The Millers' Commercial Director, Steve Coakley told the Official Site, 'This is positive news for Rotherham United.

'It's imperative that partnerships of this magnitude are maintained and developed providing everyone with longevity to work at gaining the best return. I am particularly proud that we've been able to achieve just that.'

The Regional Director of Perry's, Darren Ardon's Grandfather, Wally Ardon was a prolific striker with the Millers between 1946 and 1949, although he did play one game before the war too, and he scored one hundred and twenty-three goals in those five seasons.

Mr Ardon said of his grandfather, 'I think he would be delighted to see the association with the club continue.

'We are committed to working with the club for, at least, the next two years and as the club continues to grow we want to grow alongside them.'
