'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Stewart 'Almost There'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart has told Dom Howson of The Star that the paper work for the site of the long awaited new stadium should be finalised in seven to ten days.

'We've had a positive meeting and I believe we are nearly there,' Mr Stewart said. 'We have agreed, in principal, to the site and we just have to back it up with the paperwork which normally takes a week to ten days.'

Mr Stewart still would not confirm that the site he is hoping to purchase is the old Guest and Chrimes site but did say he will start to interview architects next week.
