'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - When will we play again?

Rotherham United had their fourth blank weekend this weekend after their game at Don Valley was called off against Bournemouth on Thursday.

But, we weren't the only fans sat at home twiddling our thumbs and doing those 'when I get around to it' jobs. Only seven games in England were left on yesterday, and, so far, only one, Leicester v Ipswich, is on today after the two Premier ties were postponed.

In the past there have been calls for a winter break but, in England, when do we actually know when it's 'winter'?

Undersoil heating could well help - but unless they have understand/terrace heating too, then games are still going to get called off because quite a few of the recent postponements have been due to safety reasons.

With the winters going to get colder and, allegedly, the summers getting hotter (not noticed this bit though!), I think, as football fans, we are going to have to get used to having games called off.

A couple of weeks ago we had a poll on Vital Rotherham asking when we'd play again - and just 3% were correct!

With the weather as it is, when do you think the next game involving the Millers will be

At Saltergate 33%
At Rochdale 23%
v Bournemouth at DV 21%
Boxing Day 20%
argh!!!! after that! 3%

At the moment the poll is

When will we see our 'football friends' again? which was suggested by Bez

This is how it stands at the moment!

Next Saturday? 10%
Tuesday 19th? 13%
v Grimsby on 23rd 13%
The re-arranged game at Saltergate? 13%
February! 51%
