RUFC - Millers reduce Shrews match prices

Rotherham United have reduced the ticket prices for the game against Shrewsbury Town on Monday, 22nd February.

The game, which has been moved to Monday for Sky, will be £10 for Adults and £5 for concessions - as usual, Under 8's go free.

Chairman, Tony Stewart told the Official Site, 'We are delighted to announce that tickets for this fixture will be at a reduced price.

'With quite a number of home fixtures on the horizon, because of the re-arranged postponed games, we now have a live Sky match to look forward to and with this we have a platform to show the nation what progress Rotherham United Football Club have made both on and off the pitch.

'We have been looking at ways in how we can introduce an offer or incentive which won't devalue Season Ticket holders' commitment. We have introduced a Friend for a Fiver initiative exclusively for Season Ticket holders for the Darlington game. And we will soon be announcing a Kids for a Quid game for later this season.

'But, we want to stress that we will not be getting into a habit of regular matchday offers. If it was done often it would devalue the commitment of Season Ticket holders.'

Tickets for the Shrewsbury game will go on offer on Monday, 25th January.

I agree 100% about that, I never like season ticket holders being discounted.
