RUFC - Fingers crossed that Saturday's game is on

Rotherham United are hoping that they will get to play their first game of 2010 on Saturday at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Volunteers started to clear the snow off the pitch at Accrington yesterday and groundstaff, volunteers and even players have been helping today.

Speaking to Accrington's Official Site, Chief Executive, Rob Heys said, 'The pitch is in great condition, as long as we can move all the snow in time. To do that we will be working round the clock and under floodlights in the evenings.

'If anyone has any time to spare your support will be appreciated.'
