'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Chairman 'game will be on'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart told Les Payne of The Star that he is determined the game will be ON tomorrow night against Darlington.

After having yet another game called off on Saturday, at Accrington, Mr Stewart says they are pulling out all the stops to get tomorrow evenings game on.

'It was so disappointing on Saturday morning when news came through from Accrington that the pitch was waterlogged after all the work that had gone on during the week,' Mr Stewart said.

'I said we have to pull out all the stops to make sure the pitch is right at Don Valley so we can play tomorrow.

'The improved weather on Sunday has helped and we are looking forward to seeing the team again.'
