'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore 'got to be mentally tough'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has told MillersPlayer that the lads have got to be mentally tough ahead of this evenings game against Darlington at Don Valley.

'I think Darlington will be open when they come here but we have the better players. But we've got to be mentally tough. If we go out thinking it's going to be easy and we only have to turn up then we are going to be in big trouble. Hopefully the rest has done us good and we come out of the blocks with all guns firing.

'If we win it will put us in the top three and four points behind Bournemouth with games in hand.

'We've got four of our next five games at home so it gives us a great opportunity to put ourselves in a great position. What we've got to do is make sure all our draws at home are now turned into wins'

After having a long lay off due to postponements, the Millers now face seven games in three weeks and Moore said, 'We're lucky that we've got a decent sized squad of twenty-three players.

'Hopefully we will get a couple of players in because we are going to need them. It's asking a lot of the lads to play that many games in a short time.'
