'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore talks about the Chief Scout

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has recently brought Graham Brown back to the club as chief scout, saying he thinks 'he can only benefit us.'

'One thing about Graham,' Moore told MillersPlayer, 'is that he knows the Championship, he knows the League and he knows the non-league and has good contacts in the game.

'We've got a good working relationship and I leave him to get on with it. I don't tell him where to go. He sees a lot of football, does a lot of mileage and hopefully that will make us a better club with better players because of advice from the chief scout.

'I've told him where we need to improve and he's thrown a few names in so hopefully something will be done in the near future.'

Goalkeeper, Graham, first came into the Millers' team in the 1979/80 season and was in the side the following year when they won the Division Three title. In his later years he came back to Millmoor as a valuable goalkeeping coach. Graham, born in Matlock, started his career with Millwall before moving to Mansfied in 1969. He played for Doncaster, Swansea and York before moving to Rotherham and then back to Mansfield again.
