RUFC - Moore on Gunning injury

Rotherham United have brought in defender Gavin Gunning from Blackburn Rovers on a months loan only for the nineteen year old to get injured in the game at Saltergate last night.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after the win last night, Manager, Ronnie Moore said, ''It`s unfortunate. Gavin went in for a block tackle and he`s got a knee right in the top of his thigh.

'We thought he might have to come offand he carried on but when he was sat in the dressing room at half-time it was swollen. I`m pleased with his attitude because he wanted to come out and play but I had to make the decision for him and he didn`t. Hopefully he will be OK for Saturday.

'The big thing is he wants to play and he`s a good player.'
