'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore wants to be part of 'it'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has told David Beddows of The Advertiser that he wants to be part of the exciting times ahead at Rotherham United and said that the news that the location for the new ground has been sorted is 'fantastic.'

With the club all set to be back playing in Rotherham in the next two years, Moore says he hopes he's still in charge.

'Hopefully,' the Millers Manager said, 'the club will be in a higher division when the ground is built. If not, then I won't be here!

'But I do hope it's me because this club has a very bright future. We're having a brand new stadium, a brand new training ground and a Chairman who won't put the club into debt.

'The stadium will be wonderful and something Rotherham has never seen before.

'This is a football town and the club need to be playing here.'

Clive Hartley, the Chairman of the Supporters Club said he was 'over the moon' at the prospect of the club moving back to the town.

'Finding a site has taken a lot longer than the fans would have liked,' Mr Hartley said, 'but congratulations and thanks have to go to the Chairman. This is not just good news - it's great news.'
