RUFC - Moore Praise for Pablo and Gunning news

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore had nothing but praise for Pablo Mills after the win at Chesterfield on Tuesday night.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, the Millers' Manager said, 'It was a difficult decision on Tuesday whether to put Nick Fenton straight back in the side, because Fenton and Sharps have been the pairing at the back, but I thought Mills was magnificent. They ended up taking their best striker off because of the way Pablo played.

'And the last time Fenton had played was on 5th December and to go to Chesterfield and be put under a little bit of pressure and if his fitness isn't quite there then that was a bit of a concern.

'But with Pablo doing well at centre-back, and in his mind he is a centre-back, it's going to be hard for Fenton to move him. But it's nice to have that competition.'

Asked about the injury to on loan defender, Gavin Gunning, Moore said, 'He's got a dead leg but he'll be OK for Saturday.

'He's only a young lad and he's not had many league games, though he did have a few for Tranmere and in the games he's played for us he's done nothing wrong.

'He's rock solid with his use of the ball and he will join in and at six feet three he's up for all corners so hopefully he'll get a few goals for us.'
