RUFC - Moore pre Bournemouth

RUFC - Moore pre Bournemouth

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Eddie Howe has done well at this evenings' visitors to Don Valley, Bournemouth.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the Millers manager said, 'He's done very well. A young lad coming in to a team that hasn't got a lot of money to play with and he's organised them well.

'Bournemouth have just had a little wobble but to go to Crewe on Saturday and win isn't easy.

'We are expecting a footballing side tonight. They aren't going to launch things, they're going to get it down and pass.

'They've got Fletcher up front who's always a handful and Pitman gets the goals. Fletcher isn't particularly quick but he's big and strong and knocks it down to Pitman and any half chances in the box and it's in the back of the net.'

Talking about Bournemouth's small squad, Moore said, 'You know, it can make everyone closer. There's no one wondering if they are going to play or if they aren't going to play. They only named four subs on Saturday which I think is a cry for help. You aren't going to tell me they haven't got a couple of kids they can put there.

'But, at the end of the day, it's been a magnificent achievement. But, there's still a long way to go and if we can beat them we can put a lot of pressure on them.'

Big game for the Millers and the Cherries. With Bury beating Dale last night the division is wide open.
