RUFC - Defender has scan

Rotherham United defender, Dale Tonge has had a scan on a foot injury he received on Saturday in the two-nil loss at Darlington.

Tonge, who made his first first team start since November, after suffering from a metatarsal injury, was caught on the same foot during Saturday's game.

Speaking to The Star, Manager, Ronnie Moore said, 'We knew there was something wrong when Dale was unable to train on Monday and he said he was in pain.

'It was the same foot as the previous injury so we thought it best to get it checked out. We are waiting for the scan results but hope he will be OK.'
