RUFC - Ronnie wants fans to get behind the team

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore insists he has a good working relationship with his players amid rumours that he had 'lost the dressing room.'

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said, 'I have never lost a dressing room in my life and it is ridiculous to say I've done it here. I have not had an argument with one single player.

'I expect the players to come in and do a shift and they know where they stand but I'm not dictorial and I allow the players to have their say. If they've a gripe about something then I listen and take it on board.'

At Darlington last Saturday, there was booing and, before the end of the game, shouts from the travelling supporters for the managers head and Moore said, 'You'll always get a proportion of any club that want the manager out. And, as long as the criticism is constructive, I can live with it.

'From twenty or so people calling for my head among the five hundred at Darlington, we had two thousand five hundred on Tuesday all behind the team and willing us to win.'
