RUFC - Striker deal 'dead in the water'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told Radio Sheffield that he had hoped to have a striker in today.

With Drewe Broughton now at Lincoln for a month, the Millers are down to three recognised strikers (Adam Le Fondre, Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor).

'We thought we'd got our man when we let Drewe go to Lincoln,' Moore said. 'But that's dead in the water now. We're looking to bring someone in and I want someone with pace and someone who is a bit different to Drewe.'

Moore didn't say who the striker was he had hoped to fetch in.
