RUFC - Moore on Roberts injury

Rotherham United midfielder, Gary Roberts was suspended for the game against Shrewsbury last night, after getting a second yellow card late in the game against Torquay on Friday night.

In the incident that led to the second yellow, Roberts went off holding his shoulder.

After the draw last night, Manager, Ronnie Moore was asked if they missed the twenty-three year old and, although he didn't really answer the question, he told MillersPlayer that he felt they were lacking the cutting edge in the midfield area.

'We need someone to get on it, especially when we are under pressure, and slow it down. We kicked too many long balls. We need someone who is going to be the orchestra leader for us, someone who is clever, can get their foot on it and play it wide.'

Asked about Roberts' shoulder injury, Moore said, 'his shoulder is bruised but nothing major. He'll train on Thursday and hopefully will be OK for the game on Saturday.'
