RUFC - Ronnie hoping midfielder comes in today

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is still hopeful of fetching in some new players before the weekend but told MillersPlayer this afternoon that a striker they thought was coming in has had a change of heart and has gone to Bradford.

'That`s disappointing to us,` Moore said, 'because we were hoping he would come here and help us get into that top three. And we don`t know why he hasn`t come - is it the ground or maybe he`s gone because they have a big crowd there.

'But, hopefully we will have a midfield player in before the day is out. We are just waiting for a phone call. If he comes he is a good player and one that we need. He`s quick on the ball and can control the game under pressure.'

It is understood that the midfielder in question is from a club currently in the Championship
