'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Hursty comes home!

Rotherham United have appointed former Miller Paul Hurst as the Community Sports Trust's new Participation Officer.

Paul, who gave the Millers fifteen years loyal service, is the all time record appearance holder.

Paul will combine his roll with the Millers with being joint Manager of Boston United alongside former Miller Rob Scott.

'We are delighted to welcome Paul back,' Dale Spilby, the head of the Community Sports Trust told the Official Site. 'He has a very important position which is aimed at establishing links with the schools in Rotherham.

'Paul will be heading up a team of fifteen strong community coaches and his managerial qualities will be vital for the role.

'It is my vision that with Paul's legendary status and a lot of hard work we can bring back the glory days, both on and off the pitch, to Rotherham United.'

Paul will begin his new role at the end of March.
