RUFC - Moore hopes to tie up deals today

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is hoping to tie up one, if not two, loan signings this morning.

Twenty-one year old Josh Walker from Middlesbrough seems to be the main man Moore wants, although it's been reported that Bradford City are also in talks with the midfielder. That's the same Bradford City who 'stole' (for want of a better word) striker Mark McCammon from under our noses.

Another player Moore has been looking at is Manchester United's twenty-one year old striker, Febian Brandy.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said, 'We have knocked on so many doors. I've a list of fifteen strikers in my office, but getting hold of a target man is really difficult.'

Yesterday, Moore was clearly disappointed that he missed out on McCammon saying that he would have been good for the squad but he is more hopeful of getting Walker.

'We need someone who can put their foot on the ball and take the sting out of the game when we're under the cosh and Josh Walker would help us do that. He's a quality player.'
