RUFC - Alfie's going nowhere

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Adam Le Fondre is going nowhere this season, although, eventually, if a hefty offer came in for him, the club would be 'daft' to turn in down.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Moore said, 'Alfie has another year left on his contract and he's going nowhere this season.

'After that, it depends where we finish. If we get promoted and doing well then we can have another word with him and see what road he wants to go down.

'But, if someone came in with a four million pound offer then you'd be daft not to say yes.'

Asked about Le Fondre's play outside the box, Moore said, 'John Aldrdige wasn't brilliant outside the box but he came alive inside it. Most natural goalscorers come alive in the penalty area and Alfie is one of them. On the pitch he can be a bit greedy but sometimes you need to be like that. And he's got a great attitude and is good to have around the dressing room.

'The biggest thing Alfie has to worry about at the moment is getting thirty goals.'
