RUFC - Midfielder joins Millers

Rotherham United have signed midfielder,Josh Walker from Championship club Middlesbrough this morning on an initial one month loan contract and will go straight into the squad for this afternoon's League Two clash with Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.
Twenty-one year old Josh is a graduate of Middlesbrough`s Youth Academy and, at one time, was being tipped to be a future England captain. He has played and captained the England Under 16, 17, 18 and 19 sides and is a versatile midfielder who can also play as a central defender.
Josh was on loan to Bournemouth in the 2006/07 season, playing six games for them and also had a loan spell with Aberdeen in 2008.
He made his full senior debut for Middlesbrough, against Sunderland, in January 2009 but had to come off in the second half with an injury.
Last season he signed a contract that commits him to 'Boro until June 2011, although, a week ago it was reported that, despite a recent return to the first team, Josh thinks his days at the Riverside could be numbered.
Josh was born in Newcastle and is 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 12 stones.
Vital Rotherham welcome Josh and wish him all the best while he is here
