RUFC - Striker in next week?

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says he is intending to bring in a striker next week.

Speaking after the one-nil win at Burton, he told MillersPlayer, 'We are a little bit short on the striker front and we've been trying to bring people in there.

'It might be that we need a little bit of experience in there, someone who knows how to lead the line who can benefit us. Popey's (Tom Pope) done well today and that's what we need him to do.

'So, fingers crossed, if it's not Tuesday it will definitely be by the end of next week.'

Although he wouldn't say who the player was, Moore said, 'He's an experienced player who knows what the games about. And, if we get him, he will help Popey and make him into a better player.'

Rotherham have signed Josh Walker on a months loan today and he went straight into the team and did very well. He has come initially for the month although it could be that he stays until the end of the season.
