'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Joseph 'Future looking bright for Millers'

Rotherham United defender, Marc Joseph is unsure about his future with the Millers, as he is out of contract at the end of the season, but is hoping he can stay.

Speaking to The Yorkshire Post, the thirty-three year old said, 'I'm settled in the area and it would be nice to be part of another success story.'

Marc joined the Millers from Blackpool in June 2007 but before Blackpool he had been at Hull City where Peter Taylor, now boss of Bradford, bought him for £40,000 from Peterborough.

'Hull,' Marc says, 'have come from nothing to produce something really outstanding and I don't see any reason why Rotherham United can't be back in the Championship in not too many years time.

'It is very important to this club that they get back to Rotherham again and be a bigger part of the local community again. When you have good things happening in a football stadium in the heart of the community then the whole town is buzzing again. With the planning of the new stadium the future is looking bright.'
