RUFC - Ellison 'we'd have been happy with a point'

Rotherham United`s Kevin Ellison admitted to feeling very sick after the 2-1 loss to Bradford at Don Valley on Saturday.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, after the game, the thirty-one year old said, 'We are devastated.

'.We trained all week knowing they were a big team and that they use set-pieces and then we get done by one in the ninety-fourth minute.

'When we got the penalty and Alfie scored we`d have been happy with a point. But then they got the very late goal.

'We`ve got to come back in and start again. There`s no crisis, we`re still in the play-offs and if we want to stay there we`ve got to look towards Dagenham away next week and we`ve got to get something.

'I`ve had a bad patch recently and I`m trying to get through that and work hard. But, the most important thing is the team and we`ve lost two games now and good teams don`t lose three on the bounce so hopefully we`ll be putting it right at Dagenham.`

The tall winger was asked if he thought players responded well to the Managers` criticism and he said, 'Maybe some deal with it better than others but he`s right at the end of the day.`

Kevin then went on to talk about new signing Josh Walker saying, 'He`s settled in quite well and on the ball, technically, he`s very, very good.`
