'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Marshall 'I don't mind where I play'

Rotherham United loanee, Marcus Marshall said he was nervous when he first joined the Millers from Blackburn Rovers.

'I didn't find it easy at first,' he admitted to Dom Howson of The Star. 'But, the lads have been great with me and I'm settled now.'

Marcus hasn't started a game yet, but has come off the bench nine times since joining Rotherham, and surely, Manager, Ronnie Moore must be thinking hard about starting him against Dagenham on Saturday.

The twenty year old came off the bench on Saturday and came very close to getting his first goal in a red and white shirt, only the crossbar stopping him. And, he was only narrowly beaten in Vital Rotherham's Man of the Match vote, by Pablo Mills.

'It's frustrating being on the bench,' Marcus said, 'and I want to win a place in the side and start playing on a regular basis. I don't mind where I play as long as I'm in the team.

'Everyone has been brilliant with me and I am really enjoying the club. The gaffer gives me constructive criticism all the time on where I need to improve and is really helping me with my career.

'Hopefully, if things go well, I could stay at Rotherham.'
