'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Season Tickets

The club have just anounced the prices of season tickets for next seson and to a man it is not very good news for us all. Even those who are re-newing have had an unpleasant shock as it seems with there 5% discount the price hike is not what they expected. Those of us who will be re-newing for the tivoli next season will see an increase of roughly 70 pounds on last seasons prices and for those in the main stand it is beyond belief that they are having to pay that amount to sit in a half finished stand!!!.
To pay on the day you will have to fork out 20 pound to watch 2nd division football which in my opinion does nothing to attract the floating supporter.
All in all i think the current board have scored an own goal with this and a re-think is strongly advised.

Good luck for next season. Hope you do well. As a swindon fan I know what it must be like for you, we were paying over the top prices last season for some pretty dire football. Anyway good luck.

" a PR disaster from the new board , just as crowds were begining to rise some bright spark has a brainwave to increase the prices . this could be another financial disaster "
taras bulba
how many people are expected to renew at these prices? its ridiculous-i thought they wanted to get the crowds in?!
mrsbarker22
We only pay 21 to watch championship football. So that is a bit much when you will struggle with the 10 point loss to start. You will have to win about 4more games than this season to finish inthe same place.
miked_joker
just been told by a work mate when he renews his sheff u season ticket it will cost him 309 [early bird price] dont know if this is right but someone is taking the P

I suppose they need to do it for the club to have any chance of surviving. hope you get a good cup run next season.

Thats the problem though isn't it. They can charge what they like, xcos they know that the hard core supporters will always go and support the team, whatever league they are in.
