RUFC - Ronnie as frustrated as fans

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says he is just as frustrated as the fans are at the moment.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said he can take the criticism but fans have to be realistic.

'Criticism is part and parcel of the game. One day you're the bees knees and the next you're a dead duck.

'We have a big squad of players here and we should not be sixth in the league but suporters have to be realistic. We can all hope for automatic promotion but we shouldn't expect it. We are only five points off third place and three wins and we're bang in there.

'Had we drawn against Bradford, the fans would have been cheering the lads off and not jeering.'

Well, personally, I'm not so sure about the cheering if we'd drawn against Bradford. It was another poor performance from the Millers last Saturday where, with only a couple of exceptions, the players looked jaded and couldn't play together. If the lads had put in a performance on the pitch then I doubt there would have been as many boo's and jeers at the end.

Speaking about the next two away games, Moore said, 'The pitches at Dagenham and Accrington aren't the best in the world. We'll have to be brave and get in there and win our headers. Sometimes, you have to adjust your game to the conditions.'

Long ball then?
