RUFC - More on the Millers Injury Problems

Rotherham United`s Assistant Manager, Jimmy Mullen talks about the team news ahead of the game at Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow.

'We`ve got a couple of injuries,` Jimmy told MillersPlayer , 'I don`t think Stephen Brogan and Jamie Green will feature and there`s a couple of niggles with Nicky Law and Gavin Gunning but there is a possibility that Gunning and Law could make it but it`s just about waiting and seeing.`

Denis Circuit, the Millers physio, said that both Gunning and Law picked up groin strains last weekend but he wouldn`t rule them out for this weekend`s game.

Both players have been put through their paces this week with pool work and work to keep their strength fitness levels up.

The Millers` skipper, Ian Sharps was back in training and had been running and it seems he is in with a good chance of being in the squad tomorrow.

Paul Warne started some running earlier this week and he said it was the best he`s felt for some time and it's hoped to get him training again sooner rather than later.

When Denis Circuit was speaking, he was waiting for a scan to come back on Andy Liddell to assess his injury but he did say that Jamie Annerson, who got an infection in a head injury, was now around ninety-nine per cent fit, and he played in the Reserve win on Tuesday.
