RUFC - Moore on McAllister and Marshall

RUFC - Moore on McAllister and Marshall

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore gave a full debut this afternoon to Marcus Marshall, on loan from Blackburn and Craig McAllister on loan from Exeter City.

Marshall has been at the club for a few weeks now but has only come on from the bench and today, Moore said about his full debut, ''I thought he was fantastic. He`s picked it up and been bright and given their full-back all sorts of problems all afternoon. And I was pleased at how positive he was in the second half and how he got at people and he worked ever so hard for the goal.'

I'm pleased Marshall got a chance in the side today and I also thought he did well.

Speaking about McAllister, who only met and trained with the rest of the team yesterday, Moore said, 'I thought he did well. You can see he hasn`t played an awful lot of league games, but he`s clever and him and Alfie had a nice little understanding at times and I think there`s plenty more to come from him.`

Marshall got better as the game went on, although he did tire towards the end. I hope Ronnie starts him again on Tuesday
