It was on this day last year, that we went to Spotland and beat Rochdale 2-1. Reuben Reid scored the first for the Millers on the fiftieth minute and Ryan Taylor made it 0-2 twenty minutes later. Adam Le Fondre got a consolation for Rochdale.

In his post-match interview, Mark Robins said that his team were 'outstanding.'

On this date, two years ago (2008), the Millers were getting ready to play a game at Millmoor against local rival's Chesterfield.

14th March 2007

It was on this day that caretaker Manager, Mark Robins, said he was ready to look at the young players at the club - such as Mark Newsham, Sam Duncum, Ryan Taylor, Jamie Yates and Stephen Brogan.

Robins had also brought in Rossi Jarvis on a months loan from Norwich City and said that 'he is versatile, has good feet good defensive qualities and can pass a ball. He could play either in mid-field or at left back.'

14th March 2006

Ronnie Moore was back in town with his Oldham side. But, the Millers sent him packing with no points after winning 2-0. An own goal by ex-Miller, Chris Swailes on the twenty-first minute followed by a Paul McLaren goal five minutes from time gave the Millers the points in front of 5,823 fans at Millmoor.
