RUFC - Annerson disappointed

Rotherham United Reserve goalkeeper, Jamie Annerson said he was disappointed that he conceded four goals in the recent Reserve victory over Scunthorpe United.

After the game, Jamie spoke to MillersPlayer saying, 'I had a few saves to make but I think we were a bit slack at the back and conceded a few poor goals.

'I had a bit to do which was good because we don`t get that many Reserve games. I was disappointed to let four in but I don`t think I had much chance with any of them. And, with having quite a few saves to make, it made up for it.`

Jamie has recently been out of action after suffering a head injury and he said, 'It`s fine. I was out for a couple of weeks and when I got back into training I didn`t really feel like I`d missed too much but you need that first Reserve game to feel good about yourself.`

The Reserves next game is at Don Valley on Wednesday, 7th April kicking off at 7.00pm when Leeds United are the visitors.

I hope that you make it straight through to the first Division, the play-offs although exciting are really a lottery.
