'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Pablo enjoys a battle

Rotherham United's Pablo Mills told The Advertiser that he is not thinking about his contract, which is up this summer, as he is concentrating on getting the Millers promoted.

'I'm one of the club's longest serving players,' the defender said, 'and if I stayed on here it would be nice. But I'm concentrating on trying to get promotion with Rotherham.

'With a busy Easter coming up, things could go either way. We can get two good results and push on or get bad results and things will be sticky.'

Talking about the last minute defeat at Notts County last weekend, the twenty-five year old said, 'Apart from the first ten minutes, I was quite happy with my performance last Saturday.

'Being at home, they were going to be quick out of the blocks but, once we got into it, we did well. In the second half they didn't look like scoring and we were disappointed to concede in the way we did. Our performance didn't warrant a defeat.'

Speaking about Lee Hughes of County, Mills said, 'He's a handful. And, he does what he does well, which is to try and get to defenders and upset them. He talks a good game but he has the goals to back that up this season.

'I don't mind a battle, whether it's against Lee Hughes or anyone. I quite enjoy it.'
