RUFC - Harrison 'got to stop the rot'

Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Harrison says that losing three on the trot is not promotion form. (Ed note: no s**t sherlock!)

After the 3-0 defeat to Aldershot on Easter Monday, where nearly three hundred and fifty Millers fans turned up, Ronnie Moore and his team had another heart-to-heart in the dressing room.

'One of the things we said is that we've got to put a wedge in it and stop the rot,' Harrison told The Advertiser.

'Losing three on the trot is no where near good enough and we do know that, but we are trying to be as upbeat as we can. We know the mistakes have to stop.

'But, we can't be doom and gloom in the position we're in. There's six games left and it's an important part of the season so we can't afford to be down. And, as hard as it is coming on the back of a three-nil defeat, we have to look at the positives and move on. The disappointing thing at Aldershot was that it was no-where near a three-nil. In fact, the last five goals we have conceded we've near enough given them away. I don't think, as a team, we're doing much wrong.

'We want to be in the top three but the ultimate aim is to get promotion by whatever means. And, whatever happens, there is no way we will slip out of the play-offs.'
