'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pre Morecambe

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is hopeful that skipper, Ian Sharps will have come through training unscathed today.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Moore said, 'Sharpsy came off on Monday with an ankle injury and we will see how it is after he's trained but I think he will be OK.'

Mark Lynch was out of the team on Monday after he suffered a reaction to the antibiotics he was taking for an abscess and Moore said, 'Fenton came in and did well and he seemed to enjoy it so that has given me some food for thought.'

Speaking about the recent losses, Moore said, 'Apart from Monday most of the games we've lost have been by the odd goal. But, is that lack of luck or individuals making mistakes? I think, at times, we've defended quite well but when an individual makes a mistake it's very difficult to cover up for it.

'As for the strikers, I'm at the stage where I'm thinking which one do I play? I will probably be making a change.

'I don't think it's the system we're playing, I think it's the players within the system who have to make the right decisions in the right areas. And, as a unit we have got to get ourselves together'
