'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pre Northampton

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that he is frustrated.

Speaking to the Official Site before tonights game against Northampton Town, who will be looking to get in the play-off places themselves this evening, Moore said, 'I know the players are capable of taking us to the next level, which is the most frustrating thing.

'Some of the performances have been good lately but some of the goals we've conceded have been down to individual errors which you can't legislate for. The hardest thing is trying to get them to concentrate more, specially from set plays.

'The players are working hard to put that right and we showed in the games against Bury and Notts County that we have resilience and fight. We are going to need every ounce of that if we are to achieve promotion.

'We are still in a great position and have every chance of keeping up the chase on the top three. We're in fifth spot with five games to go, three of them are at Don Valley so you've got to be positive. We've got to try and get the crowd back behind us which is what we need more than anything.

'When you look at what we are playing for, heads shouldn't need lifting, but in the performances they've been putting in you wouldn't think that. We've got to get into their ribs now, lift them and be positive. They've got to run their socks off now and be brave and hopefully that's what we will get for the next five games.

'This is a massive game tonight and one that we need to win.'
