'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Lynch 'it's not going to be easy'

Rotherham United defender, Mark Lynch says the team should be looking to take all nine points from their remaining three games.

Speaking to the Official Site, the former Sunderland and Hull player said, 'We need to be looking to take all nine points, but it won't be easy.

'As long as it's mathematically possible we are still looking towards those automatic promotion places. If not, then we want to get third spot in the play-offs. And, as long as we keep picking up the points and then get a bit of a momentum going into the play-offs, anything can happen.

'For the last two seasons we've had a good squad here and it was unfortunate that we had the points deducted last season.'

Mark was recalled to the starting eleven on Saturday against Cheltenham and said, 'It was a little disappointing to just get the one point because we created enough chances and played well enough to win.'
