RUFC - Moore not giving up on top three place

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore still hasn't given up on getting into the top three of League Two and getting automatic promotion.

With nine points to play for, the Millers are eight points behind Bournemouth in third place.

'Eight points is a big gap to claw back,' Moore admitted to David Beddows of The Advertiser, 'but if we win tomorrow and Bournemouth lose then the pressure is back on them.

'They have to play Port Vale and Chesterfield in their last two games, and they both have plenty to play for.

'We've kept clean sheets in our last two games and if we keep three more then, I think we will be in the play-offs, because, somewhere along the line we are going to win. What we don't want is to have to go to Hereford on the last day of the season needing to win.

'The players have trained really hard this week and their attitude has been brilliant. There are good players here and if good players perform then we win games.'

The Millers travel to Barnet tomorrow, who are still fighting to make sure they stay in League Two next season. And, although losing their last three games, not one of the top seven teams have won at Underhill this season.
