RUFC - Millers Players in Team of Year

Rotherham United have three players in the League Two Team of the Year.

Skipper, Ian Sharps, midfielder/winger, Nicky Law and top scorer, Adam Le Fondre have been chosen to be among the top eleven in the League.

Sharps joined the Millers, from Tranmere, in 2006, originally on a two year deal. He's been through points deductions, administations, relegations and a lot more with the Millers but still stayed loyal. Last season, he was voted the Rotherham United Player of the Year and was re-appointed as captain of the team at the start of this season.

After being on loan with Bradford City from Sheffield United, Nicky Law made the decision to join the Millers last summer and has made nearly fifty appearances for the first team scoring two goals.

Top scorer, Adam Le Fondre, was a little harder to 'catch' at the start of the season, joining the Millers on 8th August. And the striker soon became a fans favourite as he was scoring goals for fun. Yet to get his first hat-trick for Rotherham, we are hoping it might well come at Wembley!

Vital Rotherham United sends out Many Congratulations to Ian, Nicky and Alfie - Well Done, lads!
