Rotherham United's top scorer, Adam Le Fondre was awarded with the Star and Green 'Un Rotherham United Player of the Year Award and the South Yorkshire Golden Boot Award on Monday after being named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year on Sunday along with Ian Sharps and Nicky Law.
Alfie told the Official Site that they all had a good time on Sunday evening saying, 'There was quite a few of us travelled down on Sunday although it seemed a long journey back up on Monday morning.
'I was a bit tired for the event on Monday but it was an honour to win the awards. It's always nice to receive recognition from the people who work so closely with the clubs around the region.'
All at Vital Rotherham send our Congratulations to Alfie and hope that another trophy will be added at Wembley at the end of May!
