RUFC - No ALF next Saturday

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore was asked, after the game with Crewe this afternoon, by Radio Sheffield what his thinking will be for the game at Hereford next Saturday.

Straight away he answered, 'Well Alf (Adam Le Fondre) won't play. You'd have to be stupid to play him at Hereford and he gets injured so you can't have him in the play-offs. I have to think, on the negative side, if they pick a knock up can we do without them and, at this moment, we can't do without Alf.

'And I shall probably rest one or two others as well. I've got to be realistic and think we can't risk injuries. What happens if your 'keeper gets injured? It's difficult but I've got plenty of time to make my mind up so we will have to wait and see.

'It doesn't really matter because we can't finish any lower than fifth so I think we'll play away first anyway and we've won eleven games away from home and so, sometimes, it's better for us to play away.

'We've given ourselves a real chance and now we've got to go and take it.'
