RUFC - Lidds not ruled out

Rotherham United midfielder, Andy Liddell might not have featured for the Millers since September but Manager, Ronnie Moore hasn't ruled him out of having a part to play in the promotion push.

Speaking to Les Payne of The Star, Moore said, 'There's no doubt Lidds has lots of experience and he knows what getting promotion and being successful is all about.'

The former Barnsley, Wigan and Oldham player was persuaded to join Rotherham by former Manager, Mark Robins and was a regular at the start of the season. But, he then got an achilles injury which eventually needed surgery followed by a hamstring problem so hasn't played a first team game since.

He did, however, play for the Reserves last week and Ronnie Moore said of him, 'Having someone like Lidds around is invaluable and I've certainly not ruled him out of being in the squad.'

With Moore saying after Saturday's game that he would be 'resting' some of the players before the play-off games, there might be an ideal opportunity for Andy Liddell and Paul Warne to play at Hereford on Saturday.
