RUFC - Moore admits worry over lack of goals

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told Les Payne of The Star that he is worried about the lack of goals recently.

Rotherham have scored three goals, a penalty and two free-kicks, in the last nine games with none coming from open play.

'It is a worry,' admitted Moore, 'and it's not as if we haven't worked on it. But, a goal can always be just around the corner, possibly from a set-piece.

'The lads who go forward for those have been desperately close recently and are due a goal. Perhaps Saturday will see them go in.'

Let's hope it does. Or that we get some good balls into Alfie in the area. Surely, we are due to give someone a tonking - let's hope it's during this next week.

Joe Mattock was back in the starting line-up for the Millers with Michael Ihiekwe, who had replaced him last week, nowhere to be seen. Rovers also made one change with Ben Whiteman replacing the injured Luke McCullough.
