'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore on Aldershot

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said that the team they meet tomorrow in the first leg of the play-offs, Aldershot, are a good footballing side.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Moore said, 'They footballed us to death at Don Valley. Down there, though we lost three-nil, we were the better side. Two comical defensive errors cost us that game and their 'keeper made some wonderful saves from Alfie (Adam Le Fondre). So, if we perform like that, then I think it's a game we can win.

'What we could do with is the centre-backs or the full-backs getting on the end of some set plays and getting us a goal. But, that's not to say that Alfie couldn't do a DJ Campbell type thing and get us a hat-trick down there.

'One of the problems is they've got two Morgans now! To be fair, Marvin Morgan didn't have too much joy against us down there and during the game we've handled him really well. Dean Morgan caused us a few more problems but we have to defend well and defend well from the front.

'We have to make sure that we come back to Don Valley still in the game.'
