'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Millers fan backs the England Bid

Rotherham United fan, Dean Andrews, who recently played Ray in the Ashes to Ashes TV series, is backing Sheffield and England's World Cup 2018 bid.

The Rotherham born actor will be at Wembley Stadium on Sunday supporting the Millers in the League Two Play-Off Final against Dagenham and Redbridge told The Star, 'If England won the bid and Sheffield was successful in becoming a host city, it would be fantastic for the area.

'South Yorkshire isn't the most affluent area in the country and if the World Cup came here we could progress further with regenerating the region.'
